Tienes Sed? Are you Thirsty?

How sad would it be to get to a point in your life, or at a certain age and to see all your effort you have made to satisfy your thirst in the wrong place; in a relationship, in your position, in your job, or in certain goals. 

This takes me to Isaiah 55:1 which says:

"1 "Come, all you who are thirsty,

come to the waters;
and you who have no money,
come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without cost.

2 Why spend money on what is not bread,
and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
and you will delight in the richest of fare.

3 Give ear and come to me;
listen, that you may live.
I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
my faithful love promised to David.

I don't think there has been another generation as thirsty for identity and purpose as this one, and that can only be filled by God... We don't need all the answers but we should be filling our thirst in Jesus Christ. 

Que triste sería llegar a un momento en tu vida o a un número de años y ver que todo el esfuerzo ue has puesto en satisfacer tu sed ha sido en el lugar equivocado.

Esto me lleva a Isaias 55:1-3 que dice:

1 »¡Vengan a las aguas
 todos los que tengan sed! 

 ¡Vengan a comprar y 
a comer los que no tengan dinero!Vengan, compren vino y leche sin pago alguno.
2 ¿Por qué gastan dinero en lo que no es pan,y su salario en lo que no satisface? Escúchenme bien, y comerán lo que es bueno, y se deleitarán con manjares deliciosos.
3 Presten atención y vengan a mí,escúchenme y vivirán.Haré con ustedes un *pacto eterno, conforme a mi constante amor por David.

Creo que no ha habido otra generación que esté tan sedienta de identidad y propósito y eso solo Dios puede llenar. No tenemos que tener todas las respuestas pero debemos vivir saciando nuestra sed en Jesucristo.

Light in the Darkness, Luz en las Tinieblas

Ephesians 5:8


"In the past you were full of darkness, but now you are full of light in the Lord, So live like children who belong to the light."



Remember that you must always be light in darkness, there is a saying that no matter how dark it is in a room the light will always bring forth all things in the room, so no matter how hard things might get remember the Lord is with you.


Efesios 5:3

"Porque en otro tiempo erais tinieblas, mas ahora sois luz en el Señor; andad como hijos de luz."


Recuerden que deben ser luz siempre en la oscuridad, hay un dicho que dice que no importa cuan oscuro este en una recamara la luz revelara todo dentro de el, entonces no importa cuan dificil las cosas se pongan, recuerden que Dios esta contigo.
